The Fastest and Easiest Way to Getting What You Want

Have you ever used your willpower to achieve something?

Then you know how exhausting it is.

Don’t get me wrong - willpower is great to push you through the final miles of a marathon.

To get you started on something scary, like that presentation for a couple of hundred humans.

To get you in a plane when you're terrified of flying.

It works - but it’s very expensive.

It costs a lot of energy.

And there’s a great alternative - a ‘sustainable energy’ approach to help you get what you want.

Whether it’s more clients, selling your art, writing that novel or getting healthy - it doesn't need to be a constant draining drag.

Now I'm guessing you probably want to know how.

Are you ready?

Ok.

You have to make decisions - and make them non-negotiable.

It’s that simple.

Want to lose weight?

Instead of relying on your willpower not to eat food that makes you fat, decide ahead of time to never eat it again.

Not on weekends. Not at parties.

Not even at your own birthday.

This is where people are so confused…they tell me it’s impossible. It’s too hard.

It’s not hard at all.

It’s so easy.

What’s hard is to have to keep making decisions in the moment, when your primitive brain tells you to get that dopamine hit.

Doing that takes tremendous amounts of willpower. It’s exhausting.

If you decide ahead of time what you’re going to do it isn’t even an issue.

Your brain has to waste ZERO energy trying to make a decision.

It’s simply a ‘no’.

No drama, no ‘should I or shouldn’t I’, just a fast, clear, clean ‘NO’.

I made this decision over ten years ago about eating sugar.

My body was in a pre-stage of diabetes, I was overweight and fell asleep after pretty much every meal.

It became very hard to keep my business going - let alone be there for my family and friends.

So I read up on the underlying causes (thank you Michael Pollan!) and decided I was never going to eat sugar again.

Life was so easy after that.

When somebody offered me something sweet, I simply said ‘no thank you’.

‘Are you sure?’ - ‘Yes, I’m very sure.’

One decision. Life changing.

So what is it you want to change in your life?

Is there some project you want to (re)start?

A business you want to build?

Do you want to seriously improve your health?

Your relationships?

Then there is a decision you have to make.

Maybe it's to make what you want to offer to the world more important than your fear of being visible.

To no longer put crap in your mouth, indulge in doom scrolling, overworking, etc.

Or to prioritise time spent with loved ones.

Odds are you’ve tried this in the past, and it hasn’t worked.
And your brain is telling you it won’t work this time either.

But that’s because you hadn’t really DECIDED.

You thought ‘it would be better if I…’ ‘it would be nice if I…’ ‘I want to do more/less of…’.

That's very confusing for your brain. Very exhausting.

You have to decide - and make it non-negotiable.

And if you think you simply can’t do that, you’re wrong.

There already is plenty in your life that’s non-negotiable.

You pick up your kids - even if you don’t feel like it.

You don’t drink and drive (if you do, stop it. Seriously!).

And, here’s one of the biggest non-negotiable for most of my coachees:

YOU NEVER LET A CLIENT DOWN.

Most people will rather almost kill themselves than not deliver to clients.

Interesting, right?

You know exactly what it means for something to be non-negotiable.

You simply haven’t realised yet that you get to make those rules.

Which is the best news ever.

So think about it.

What one thing do you need to decide on that will transform you?

Decide.

And make it non-negotiable.

If taking this step freaks your brain out too much here are two ways to make it easier:

Try it for one day first. Decide you will NOT eat sugar, overwork, drink alcohol, play games for one day. Or that you WILL honour your schedule.

Try it so you can experience the extreme freedom you get from making decisions ahead of time.

To experience the amount of energy you have left over at the end of the day because you weren’t relying on willpower.

And number two: don't go it alone. Get a coach to help you and support you along the way.

It will make your transformation even faster and easier. And, if you work with me, much more fun.

Here’s a link to book a free discovery call, which in itself will transform your life whether or not you decide to work with me: https://www.coachkramer.org/work-with-me.

Last but not least: today, decide to have your best weekend yet!

Enjoy,
